Thanks to the technology of Touch-Glass, you can convert
the shopfront window of your business into a system of information
and promotion where customers can select the options they
want.
Until now the promotion of products was done by traditional
systems - TV, Radio, Newspapers - but with Touch-Glass along
with On-Glass Projection or LCD and Plasma displays, you will
create a great attention grabber providing high public impact
and interest for your business.
Touch-Glass is great for companies using multi-media programmes
or digital signage.
Up to this time it was not possible to interact with large
visual systems. With Touch-Glass it is now possible.
Touch-Glass is not a tactile screen, it's a set of sensors
that are stuck to any non-conductive material such as glass,
plastics, wood, material etc.
When you touch the sensors, information is displayed using
a mixture of text, images, video, audio or other multi-media
files, and these are updated through each sensor activation..
The Touch-Glass systems in combination with the TransVu On-Glass
film can create a large spectacular interactive multi-meda
system.
The Touch-Glass system is not just limited to shop-front
windows, it's ideal for Display Stands, Information Panels,
Interactive Signs, Tourish Information, the options are limited
to your imagination.
INSTALLATION
The easy installation makes it possible to put Touch-Glass
in any window display. You just put a poster or pre-printed
adhesive sticker on the back of the glass or non-conductive
material to indicate to the customers where to press.
The sensors are then stuck to the back of he stickers at
the "touch points". The touch-glass interface is
then connected to the computer via a serial or USB port.
Installation of the Touch-Glass programme is next, allowing
the selected multi-media application to be controlled via
the touch sensors.
SOFTWARE
Touch-Glass requires multi-media software to carry out the
multi-media production.
In the selected multi-media software, you must be able to
assign keys of your keyboard to buttons in your application.
Most
multi-media software can do this, here are a few of the commonly
used programmes:
Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Director, E-Vision, Powerpoint
and Scala.
Programming with HTML, Javascript and Java makes it possible
to navigate web pages through a window display.
